The UB Brush is made with moso bamboo and there are so many reasons why this material is a solid, sustainable and a beneficial choice over any plastic toothbrush out there.
It's naturally grown with no added pesticides or chemicals and although Panda’s feast on bamboo daily, they don’t eat moso bamboo. You’re not taking away their food or causing any harm to their appetite in the process.

Moso bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, reaching up to a final length of 20 metres high just within a couple of months. With a growth of up to one metre per day, it’s an endless resource and in the process absorbs large amounts of CO2, providing oxygen in return.
When moso bamboo is harvested it’s actually beneficial to the younger bamboo, giving it room to grow to maturity. The plant does not die after harvesting it as with other trees, so no deforestation takes place in the process.
It’s a naturally antibacterial material which makes it perfect to use for the UB Brush. This is also why it grows so rapidly in nature as most varieties of bacteria and bugs that try to thrive on it don’t stand a chance. It’s hard and durable and survives most things that nature can throw at it!
