Brushing your teeth properly is not only key to making sure you get the most out of your UB Brush, but also to ensure your caring for that smile in the right way! Vigorous brushing does not equal a good clean and it will also cause wear and tear of your brush sooner.

There are a few things to consider:
Don’t brush too hard!
The recommended change time for your toothbrush is every 2-3 months.
A vigorous brush not only causes wear and tear to the brush sooner that it should, it also causes recession of gum tissue and sensitivity to things that are hot all cold. The key to brushing is to remove plaque build up but you don’t need to go in all guns blazing to do so!
So how do I do it effectively?
Less is more is the key principal here. Light brushing for a total of 2 minutes is more than enough to do the job properly. Ensure you're getting to the top, bottom, front and back of all of your teeth The UB Brush has been designed with the perfect head size that allows you to reach all of these areas easily. You should hold your brush at a 45 degree angle whilst doing so.
Use circular movements
Enamel is made of glass-like rods extending out towards the surface of your tooth. When you brush side to side this causes the rods to break, leading to cracks and weekending teeth. With your UB Brush at the 45 degree angle, brush in small circular movements focusing on a few teeth at a time, then moving onto the next set.
Once you’ve finished!
After you have completed your brushing routine, rinse the brush with clean water making sure there is no residue or bubbles left in the bristles. The UB Brush is naturally antibacterial, it’s important to let it air dry in an upright position and not let it keep getting damp whilst you’re not using it to actually brush your teeth.
How to dispose of your UB Brush
The best place to dispose of your biodegradable UB Brush is your green bio waste bin. The bristles are made out of the highest quality Nylon 6 which is the industry standard in oral health, these you'll need to recycle. You can either pull the bristles out with a pair of pliers before composting the rest of the brush or alternatively take the head off entirely and dispose of seperately.
Happy brushing guys!
